Keywords:
CBSAF, agroforesty system, family farmingAbstract
This article presents the preliminary results of the survey of experiences of agroforestry systems
(SAFs) in the state of São Paulo, based on consultations with the annals of the ten Brazilian
Congresses of Agroforestry Systems (CBSAFs) carried out between 1994 and 2013. A
total of 1686 of which 88 refer to the state of São Paulo. The detailed research of these 88
works revealed the existence of 41 different experiments, most of them being developed in
family farms and experimental areas. This consultation and the methodology adopted for the
identification and differentiation of the experiments proved to be efficient to reach the objectives
proposed in this first stage of the research project, providing important information that will
guide the next stage of systematization of these experiences.
