Abstract

The work was carried out with the aim of expanding the interface of social knowledge
presented during the discipline of Rural Sociology and Family Agriculture. The objective
was to gather information for the construction of knowledge about family agriculture. The
Methodology of case study was adopted, so an interview was conducted by a semi-structured
questionnaire, with the head of the family, wife and children where everyone interacted
comfortably. From the answers obtained in the methods used, it was explained
how the family income is obtained, the stages of fruit pulp production and those involved
in the process, besides the importance of fruit growing for the family, leading the authors
to conclude that due to the organization And genuine interest of the components, there is
a process of family succession, one can characterize productive activity as sustainable,
and that agroecological practices are present in this productive unit.
