Abstract

The text relates the experience lived in a Family Production Unit of a farmer, who, together with
his family, is based on the Agroextractivist Project (PAE), Santo Antônio II, municipality of Abaetetuba,
located in Island of Capim. The relationship with this reality occurred during the period of
the Field Internship, proposed in the Agronomy course of the Federal Institute of Pará, Campus
Castanhal. The analysis portrays the description of the interaction of man and the biophysical
environment, observed in the quotidian of the riverside with the agricultural production.
