Productive capacity recovery of an altered area through the use of the leguminous Tree Inga Edulis

The experience to be reported was developed during the realization of the Project “Agroecological
systems, technological and organizational innovations: transition processes focused on
environmental and social resilience in the State of Pará”, developed by the Brazilian Agricultural
Research Corporation and approved by the MDA through Of the Puxirum Agroecological
Nucleus. It refers to the practical application of the experience accumulated over the years of a
knowledge acquired in the rural familiar schools and in the life by a familiar farmer and agricultural
technician who decided to use Inga edulis Mart as a tool to recover two hectares of area
altered by the bad Use of its natural resources in a property located in the municipality of Pacajá,
Pará. The legume proved to be a viable alternative, from the socioeconomic, agricultural
and environmental point of view.
