Yield of (Lactuca sativa L) under different doses of goat manure

Abstract

Lettuce (Lactuca sativa L.) is characterized by being the main leafy vegetable sold and consumed
in Brazil. The objective of this work was to determine the dose of manure associated with
biofertilizer that provides an increase of productivity in lettuce cultivation. The experiment was
carried out in a field area of UNEB, Department of Technology and Social Sciences (DTCS),
Campus III, located in the city of Juazeiro, State of Bahia. The experiment was carried out
with four treatments: T1- 0 kg / m-2, T2-2,5 kg/m-2, T3 - 5 kg/m-2 and T4- 7,5 kg/m-2 plus 7, 5
ml of biofertilizer m-2 in all treatments and four replicates. Under the conditions of the present
research, the use of goat manure associated with biofertilizer as a source of organic fertilization
presented the best results for lettuce production (Lactuca sativa), under the dosage of 7.5
kg/m-2 of goat manure.
