The family agriculture produces most of the foods supplies the table of Brazilians, whether
those living in rural areas or in urban areas. However big part of this production is marketed
by middlemen, who in addition to pay a lower price for the products, break with bonds of reciprocity
between consumer and farmer. Of this form, reconnect producer and consumer are the
fourth step of the ecological transition, aiming to create a culture of sustainability. In this sense,
the IX Brazilian Congress of Agroecology organized the Fair of Knowledge’s and Flavors, with
the participation of social movements, organizations and research and extension groups participants
in the Congress in Belém-PA. From a qualitative methodological approach, this work
had as objective to reflect on the importance of this space as connection of praxis in the Congress,
as well as in the representation of the diversity of actors that construct the Agroecology
from North to South of Brazil. This finding was evident by the diversity of exhibited products,
marketed and tasted, as well as in the intense dialogue promoted in this space, with expressive
participation of women.
