Quantification of losses in the cultivation of Capuchinha flowers and leaves in organic system

Abstract

The aim of this work was to quantify losses in flowers and leaves of Capuchin in organic system
with the purpose of reporting the possible difficulties that arise in the cultivation, since the
species presents potential. The experiment was carried out at the Agricultural Sciences Center
of the Universidade Federal da Paraíba, in the city of Areia - PB. It was observed that the losses
of flowers were caused by mechanical factors, and higher percentual of leaf losses were
mostly provided by phytopathological agents.
