Abstract

The macrofauna of the soil comprises groups of organisms that are easily visible to the naked
eye and that inhabit the soil-litter interface, promoting ecological services to the ecosystem.
The objective of this work was to evaluate the macrofauna diversity in litter and soil in two different
agroecosystems. Two agroecosystems were considered: Capoeira high located in INPE
and Restinga Ciliary Forest located in the Aguahi site. Sampling occurred from data collected
through an adaptation of the TSBF-Tropical Soil Biology and Fertility Method. After this step,
the macrofauna was counted and identified. It was possible to observe that 14 taxa of the macrofauna
were found in INPE and only 11 taxa were in Sitio Aguahim. Regarding the origin of
the sample, serrapilhiera or soil, a greater concentration of individuals in the soil is observed
when compared to the litter
