Abstract

The Lippia alba is a promising source of raw Material for cosmetics, pharmaceutical and flavor
industries. This work aimed to verify the effect of different solutions, prepared with natural organomineral
fertilizers Orobor N1 ® and AloeFértil ®, in the biomass production in seedlings of
Lippia alba. Three solutions of each fertilizer, prepared with 2.5 ml of the product were prepared
for 1 L of water (solution 1); 5 mL of the product to 1 L of water (solution 2) and 10 mL of the
product to 1 L of water (solution 3), added to the substrate used in Lippia alba. The evaluations
done 27 days after the cutting by recording the masses of fresh and dry matter of the aerial
part and the root system. The study allows inferring that natural fertilizers containing minerals
and organic substances can contribute to the development of organic production, also leading
to a lower dependence of farmers on external inputs from nonrenewable and polluting sources.
