Abstract

The present work reports the process of implantation of the Agroforestry System (SAF) for
the production of food in a plot of the Rosa Luxemburg Settlement, located in the State of São
Paulo. In order to put in the praxis the one seized during the Technical Course in Agroecology
that was developed in the Popular School in the same settlement. Practical experience aims at
producing food without the use of agrochemicals and in cooperation with nature for diversified
production. The experiment was carried out in Lot No 006 of the Anhaia family, in an area of
approximately 750 m². Thus, our objective is to report a practical experience of insertion of
controlled techniques and procedures in the agroecological perspective. This work is essentially
practical but includes theoretical reflections on the subject. It dealt with the application
of technical knowledge in the treatment of the area, soil preparation, use of organic matter,
planting of seedlings and other control techniques in the implanted area.
