Abstract

The agroforestry systems (SAFs) present thenselves as an agroecological alternative of sustainable
production for the family farmers of the Northeast of Paraense, providing improvements
in forest management, increasing the diversity of products and ensuring stability in farmers’
income. The objective of this work is to demonstrate the contribution of SAFs in the economic
and environmental dimensions from the perception of the family farmers of Northeast of Paraense,
the method applied was the use of semistructured interviews and landscape reading,
made during field research in June 2016.
