Analysis of the agroecosystem of the community of Candeia dos Anselmos in Baturité-CE through CETRA technical assistance

The present study aims to make a case study from the Participatory Rural Diagnosis (DRP)
developed by the Center for Labor Studies and Worker Advice (CETRA) which is a development
organization, non-confessional (lay), non- Partisan and non-profit organization. DRP is
a technique that allows the acquisition of various information about the reality of each farmer,
such as the routine of work, what produces, who is sold each product among others. The
study is based on the experience of the agroecological transition of the farmer Adriano Costa
do Nascimento, 44, who lives in the community of Candeia dos Anselmos, 12 km far from the
municipality of Baturité - CE. The farmer Adriano is a multiplier of knowledge in agroecology
in the Territory of the Baturité Massif, knows the importance of a good quality food, and seeks
the maintenance of a quality and sustainable environment.
