Abstract

The Silvipastoril System (SSP) is the integration of trees, pastures and animals, proposed as
production practice in a sustainable basic property. The objective of this study was to evaluate
ten (10) years of socio-environmental performance of the Silvipastoril System in the municipality
of Jaru, Rondônia. The evaluation system used was the Eco-cert Rural (AMBITEC), which
consists of a set of spreadsheets (MS Excel platform). The system is composed of two dimensions
(Ecological and Socio-environmental). This tool was applied in December 2016 during a
technical visit to the family property, whose milk production is the main economic activity. The
result of the evaluation constitutes a performance index of 3.68 on a scale ranging from -15 to
+15, showing a positive tendency for the established management, being for soil quality (15.0),
for the recovery of degraded areas motivated by the management and (11.3), is associated
with greater stability, better security and distribution of income and property value (9.0). In the
evaluation of socio-environmental impact of the silvipastoral, system has shown that it is an
important management practice to promote the sustainability of productive activity in the rural
establishment.
