Abstract

The objective of this work was to verify the effects of homeopathic medicinal products on the
germination of corn seeds. The treatments corresponded to Pulsatilla, Arnica and Staphysagriadynamized
in the centesimal (CH 12) and a control (distilled water). The seeds were
immersed in 20 ml of solution, composed of distilled water and five samples of medicament,
for 5 minutes, and then taken to the germination chamber for 8 days. The evaluated variables
were:root length, shoot length, total seedling length and fresh mass. The results indicated that
of seeds treated with Arnica germinated vigorous and better seedlings compared to Pulsatilla
and Staphysagria.
