Production of the Hiratake edible mushroom in agricultural and forest residues in the Alta Floresta-MT region
Keywords:
Pleurotus pulmonarius, Brachiaria brizantha, productivityAbstract
The cultivation of Pleurotus sp. Is considered a viable alternative due to easy adaptation to the
different types of substrates. In Alta Floresta - MTmany timber industries are found that end
up producing many waste, these can become a problem if accumulated in the environment.
Mushrooms of the Pleurotus genus have high nutritional value and can be a source of income
due to their commercial value. The objective of this work was to evaluate the feasibility of
the use of agroforestry residues in the production of edible mushrooms. The treatments were
composed of garapeira sawdust, Piatã grass (Brachiaria brizantha) and coffee bark in different
proportions and the experimental design was completely randomized, with 4 replications. A
variance analysis was performed, followed by a Tukey test at 5% significance. The garapeira
sawdust was not promising for the production, since the grass added with the coffee peel stood
out in relation to the other treatments.
