Abstract

This article presents the experience of the agroecological basis of the settlement Terra vista,
located in the municipality of Arataca. Known for uniting the knowledge of rural producers and
technical education, with concern for the formation of citizens who respect nature. Through
the process of agroecological transition, all the production of the settlement today is produced
in an agroecological way, with the production of cocoa through the cabruca system, which
enabled an increase in productivity and quality of cocoa, which today gives rise to the known
chocolate Terra Vista , Produced by youth the settlement.
