Abstract

This study aimed to equate the problems encountered in settlement Star in the city of Campo Grande / MS, an action of thinking and acting locally as a way to implement a process of sustainable rural development based on agroecology. They were prepared four meetings with the community in order to take use of techniques and conservation of fruits and vegetables, as well as numeracy of their production. The first workshop: use of sweet passion fruit jelly as: used the technique employed in fruit and vegetable processing classes with two sweet passion fruit jelly formulations. The second workshop: production numeracy: it was taught area calculation and production in each square meter, so that they can have the record of their work. The third workshop: use of taro as raw material in the manufacture of bread: we used the technique used in bakery technology classes to blender yam bread. We obtained a very soft and tasty bread tasted by all present. The fourth workshop: preparation of pickles and conservation of vegetables: we used the technique employed in the Introduction lessons of Technology in Food. Action research led and transferred knowledge and skills contributed to the academic learning, sought to develop solutions to the problems encountered in the diagnosis, interfered in the current reality of these producers, making them achieve favorable conditions to remain fixed in the field, turning so their social reality.
