Abstract

The consolidation of the Working Group on Agroecology (GTA) came in the year 2015 with the planning, being established in 2016, with the accumulation of part of the activities, projects and demands of the students of the Higher Course of Agroecology of IFB - Campus Planaltina throughout its 6 years of existence. The group aims to train trainers in self-management, social organization, implementing bio-construction practices, agroforestry implantation and Creole agricultural production, showing itself as a way to strengthen Agroecology, bringing scientific knowledge closer to popular knowledge, formal education that limits learning - training professionals capable of managing ecologically correct, economically viable and socially just agrifood systems.
