Agroecological Living Space

Abstract

With resilience, undergraduate students of Agroecology Technology at the Federal Institute of Brasília occupy a house, since 2010, which was abandoned in the Institute's premises, in order to guarantee their student stay and to develop the agroecological practices of which they felt the need and absence in the curriculum. With organization and self-management, the various groups that have passed through the ECOA - Area of ​​Agroecological Coexistence, have left their important contribution, despite the challenges encountered. Today, the result is a place of coexistence and agroecological production, demonstrating the students' resistance against the inclemencies, in order to build agroecology in a transversal, plural and democratic way.
