disseminating agroecology in the communities of Florianópolis

Abstract

Through Cepagro’s experiences, Organization which participates in Agroecology in a urban and
rural communities, It has been realized that society is seeking alternatives in its everyday life with
ecological practices. This demand originated the “Knowledge in Practice” workshops, which aims
to promote Agroecology in Florianópolis. The project consists of five free workshops with different
themes that are characterized by a practical and collaborative learning dynamics of the participants.
At this moment there are rich exchanges of knowledge and experience between participants and
minister. The themes of worshop are: Composting, Agroecological Gardens, Medicinal Plants,
Nursery of seedlings and Unconventional food plants.
