Abstract

The study on the investigation of techniques used for food production has grown greatly, mainly regarding the use of agrochemicals and agroecological production. In Mato Grosso do Sul it is no different, several of its municipalities have the largest rural population, being responsible for managing the production of food that arrives fresh, daily in the houses, either by fairs, private deliveries or even markets. But it is necessary to return a look at the reality of production that these producers are experiencing to produce these foods. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to investigate the methods used in milk production and other complementary activities in five properties of the Teijin Settlement, Nova Andradina-MS. As a main result, it is possible to point out the great need for training farmers and a specialized technical assistance that can bring to these producers follow-up for the insertion and execution of agroecological practices, since in 90% of the properties visited, the use of agrochemicals makes daily gifts. Only 10% of the interviewed group uses poison-free techniques.
