Abstract

This article reports on the experience of a farmer, living in the municipality of Sidrolândia-MS, in a settlement area. The Brazilian reality regarding the issue of agrarian reform shows the need to adopt new practices as it is reported in this article. The lands destined for settlements, are for the most part considered unproductive, except for some Settlement Projects (P.A's) in the country. The experience report of this farmer shows that there is a possibility of finding sustainability, obtaining conditions of life in the lot, provided that access is obtained to a study of techniques and technical assistance that allow the execution of recovery projects in a gradual way and the insertion of strategies that seek to bring during this process, an income. Therefore, the main objective of this study was to show the versatility of a plant, the vinegar or rosela, supported in the agroecological production as an alternative of income generation during the long process of recovery of the environment as a whole. As a result we obtained several products and in this study we will focus on the production of vinegar, which given the orders, extended to two more properties.
