Abstract

This case study was developed in the Nazarerth settlement, Sidrolândia-MS, and presents the path that a couple of farmers used to implant a backyard in an agroforestry system. With the aim of disseminating the experience and presenting its feasibility and replicability, the results obtained since its implementation in March 2018 until now, October 2018 are presented. Among the results already presented is the improvement of soil conditions and, the harvesting of vegetable species as well as conditions for implantation of fruit plants that already depend on a shaded area, such as cacao trees, that will be introduced in November 2018. The agroforestry yard developed in lot 111, today serves as a model for other areas in deployment.
