Abstract

Considering the existence of demands in the South Sergipano Rural Identity Territory for ecologically based family farming systems, the objective of the research was to identify strategies for technological innovation to contribute to peasant autonomy in this area. The methodology consisted of the identification of axes and strategies of agricultural development; the identification and systematization of transition experiences in agrarian reform settlements agroecosystems, stimuli to the construction of knowledge exchange networks and systematization of this process of knowledge construction. The results pointed to the identification of development axes aligned with the demands of the Territory and the effectiveness of the peasant to peasant methodology in the creation of interaction environments verified by the construction of four networks of knowledge with the accomplishment of 66 exchanges. The perception, by way of conclusion, evidences the effectiveness of the campesino to campesino methodology in the effective exchange of knowledge between the families contributing in an objective way in the innovation process in the ambit of the agrarian reform.
