Abstract

In Brazil, industrial poultry began in the late 1950s, in the Southeast region, and in the 1970s it moved to the southern region, which became the largest poultry producer in the country, mainly due to the production model, control of the genetic process and improvement of the environmental techniques. With regard to the objectives, an exploratory approach was carried out, or preliminary study, aiming at understanding the problem and evidencing it through a literature review in the area literature and a case study carried out in the Chácara Recanto da Paz, area of ​​10.3 ha, located on Highway 060, km13 on the right in Iporá-GO. According to Gil (2008, p.54), sales of eggs with an aggregate value of R $ 6.00 to R $ 7.00 per dozen in the local market and production cost variable from R $ 2.20 to R $ 2, 50 per dozen and slaughtered chicken from R $ 25.00 to R $ 30.00 per animal unit with an average weight of 2kg and a variable production cost of R $ 11.30 to R $ 12.50 per unit produced.
