Productive Backyards for Food Security of Cinturao Verde Peasants, Três Lagoas/MS

Abstract

The present work intends to report the productive diversity of the Green Belt, area of ​​small farmers, within the urban perimeter of Três Lagoas. From a survey of agricultural production, complemented by photographs, we show the great productive diversity within three selected lots, allowing to guarantee the self-consumption of the settled family and the complement of the family income with the commercialization of part of the production. Productive yards meet the needs of families with a production of substance and an insertion in the local market.
