Abstract

The present work aimed at the creation and strengthening of social solidarity networks related to the paradigm of agroecological agricultural production in the Canudos settlements (Palmeiras de Goiás, Goiás, Brazil), and Family Agriculture areas of Silvânia, Goiás, Brazil, through Therapy Community (TC).TC is a technique for working with groups for prevention and health promotion. It was elaborated and developed by the psychiatrist Adalberto Barreto, of the Federal University of Ceará, Brazil. It is a practice of health care that aims to accommodate the suffering of the subjects through the constitution of spaces of exchange, word and bond, the focus is suffering and not disease. It is believed that solutions can come from the collective, in identifications with each other and in respect to differences. From the narrative, the attentive listening and the expression of the emotional contents, the sufferings can be redefined. Community therapists act as mediators, seeking to stimulate and favor the sharing of life experiences, in order to highlight and value the knowledge produced by each one's experience. The project made it possible to re-signify the difficulties of the social organization of the productive groups and to work on the consolidation of systems of production and consumption of organic products. The work promoted integration between the universities UFG, Brazil and the University of Granma, Cuba and contributed to the strengthening of a network of exchanges of experiences and knowledge among students of specialization, undergraduate, master's and doctorate of the School of Agronomy and Food Engineering of UFG.
