Abstract

The objective of this paper is to discuss the seasonality character of the production of vegetablesfor selling for governmental programs of food acquisition produced by the familyfarming. The study was developed from May 2016 to September 2018. Sales notes were compiled during every agroecological product fairs bythe Incubadora Tecnológica do Pantanal e da Fronteira, at the Pantanal Campus (CPAN) of UFMS, in Corumbá. It was observed that the four products chosen for analysis showed considerable supply variation during the year. The green leafy vegetables (lettuce and cabbage) are more offered between March and October; the cassava, from May to November; and tomato, from July to October.
