Abstract

The objective of this study was to evaluate the chemical attributes of manioc (Manihot esculenta Crantz.) And pepper (Piper nigrum L.) crops in the Boa Vista community in the city of Acará, Pará. Soil samples were collected in layers of 20 cm of depth, for determination of pH, P +, K +, Ca2 + + Mg2 +, Al3 +, SB and CTC. The determination of the soil chemical parameters was carried out in the laboratory of the Federal Rural University of Amazonia - Capanema Campus. The results indicate that the soil in both crops is poor chemically, characterizing that the areas where the crops occur showed soil impoverishment based on the analyzed parameters.
