Abstract

This report presents the in progress project of interaction with established family farmers from the central region of the state of São Paulo. Through the systemic approach to agroecology and action research, we have worked to identify the local problems posed by farmers and their formal and informal organizations in relation to the way in which family farming systems are managed, post-harvest processes, Processing and marketing of production and the degree of articulation, organization and collaboration existing in the communities. The work has had relevant repercussions in the scope of the University, by providing undergraduate and graduate students with a concrete action in the productive sector, in favor of the diffusion of agroecology and its scientific content, theoretical and applied, in favor of productive efficiency Sustainable agriculture.
