In this article we attempt to a approach to social and symbolic dimension of the Creole seeds festivals. Once acknowledged that the field of seeds is supported on a symbolic construction that features industrial seed as "improved and superior", it is understandable that political struggles about seeds implies disputes about the representation of "good seed". In this context, in this research we investigates how contestatorios groups act in symbolic production for industrial seed superiority "denaturalization". We argue that the act of exchange of creole seeds, at festivals, (re) values the creole seeds exchanged as common heritage, with related identification of the participants with creole seeds preservation proposals and its agents.
