Abstract

Due to the demand for organic products growing significantly in the country, Brazil tends to become one of the largest producers and exporters of this product in the world. The present study evaluated the presence of chemical residues in bovine milk produced in organic and conventional systems. The presence of residues of chemical substances was detected only in the milk of the cow with mastitis created in conventional system. The use or misuse of antimicrobials may lead to the presence of residues that affect the quality of milk produced.
