Abstract

Rural activities are considered the most dangerous for the workers there are, within this context,
this work aimed to verify whether future professionals in agricultural sciences will be conveyed
to the labor market by the University and Technical College, have received counseling
and issue of safety in agricultural work and have knowledge of regulatory standards. Applied
a questionnaire with 14 questions to the students of the last period, ie, students in the final
phase of the training courses in Engineering agronomic, forestry and agricultural engineering
technician two schools process was used as a research tool. The results showed that the area
of workplace safety is considered important by students of courses in the field of Agricultural
Sciences, however the majority of these future professionals show no knowledge of the regulatory
norms, more specifically in the NR 31.
