The objective of this work was to evaluate the productivity of tomato cultivars in agroecological transition systems with green manure species pre-cultivation. The assays were assembled with four blocks of 150 m², each block sown by green manure specie that was cut and incorporated to the soil prior to the cultivation of the vegetables. Three tomato cultivars were tested each year, and three experiments were carried out in a 4 x 3 factorial (4 green manure species x 3 tomato cultivars). The experimental plots were 10 m² for each cultivar, and the parameters of vegetative development and production were evaluated. The agronomic performance of the cultivars was compared by the nonparametric Kruskal Wallis test. In the first cycle carried out in 2015, green manure presented similar effects on tomato yield, while in the second cycle in 2016, tomato higher yields were obtained in post-crotalaria cultivation. The most productive cultivars were Tospodoro after cultivation of crotalaria and Guandu beans, Viradoro after forage turnip and Duradoro in post-cultivation of Guandu beans.
