Abstract

Abstract:The research sought to carry out an ethnobotanical survey of plants with phytosociological importance in the quilombos of Rio Grande do Sul. After this action the pilot area was sacralized through the songs and prayers to the orixá regent of the vegetable garden, at which moment the ocutá was settled and the patuás and herbs for planting participants. Rationale: invisibility of the features of quilombola cultural identity associated with the planting of typical species of culture. Objective: to recuse the land through oral tradition and to promote the agro-ecological transition for the socio-economic benefit of the community. Methodology: the concepts of QuilombolaAgroecology and ethnobotany were used to create a garden model that will serve other quilombola communities in Rio Grande do Sul. Results: soil sacralization, creation of ocutás and patuás, organization of dances, prayers and celebrations for axé of the agroecological culture based on the quilombola ancestral wisdom, through the oral tradition of the Griffins
