Abstract

This experience took place in the Upper hinterland Sergipe region, in the village Stone tank in
the municipality of Nossa Senhora da Gloria, Tabebuia aurea site, where with the help of participatory
methodologies, using semi-structured interviews and dialogues, based on the family
farming, allowing information on the operation of the system, the interaction strategies with
drought, which predominates in this region is’pedregosos soil characteristics and low fertility,
and prolonged drought periods. However it was observed interaction strategies with the same
obstacles, being reported to organic fertilization, diversity of animal creation, preservation of
the savanna vegetation, use of adapted species, which aims to present a harmonious coexistence
between the critical condition of the semiarid and wishes and outlook on life of the farmer
and his family.
