Abstract

The study presents an analysis of the sustainability of the Brazilian states in two distinct years,
2000 and 2010, using the indicators of sustainable development: environmental, economic and
social, made available by SIDRA / IBGE. The environmental indicator was used as the main
descriptor, allowing to identify the most sustainable Brazilian states and consequently offer
alternatives on the theme.
