Agroecologia e convivência com o Semiárido na Rede de Mulheres do município de Remanso/BA: promoção da autonomia, igualdade de gênero e da sustentabilidade

Abstract

The goal of the present work is to analyze the advances and challenges on implementation of public politics focused on the familiar agriculture strengthening and on overcoming the gender inequalities in the context of the Women Network from Remanso-Ba city. It started from the action-research perspective and many participative tools of mobilization and mediation were used through a focus group structured in 6 activities. It was also applied the participating observation and semistructured interviews of identified people relevant for the research questions comprehension. It was identified that in the last two decades the access to public politics positively impacted the women’s life that integrated this network. However, even after these achievements through the action of women in the network, still there are a lot to advance to guarantee the gender equality and the fully citizenship for women who live in the rural area.
