Experiência da primeira composteira na Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de São Paulo

Abstract

The composite of the Faculty of Medicine of USP (FMUSP) began in 2018, with thermophilic compost as it´s chosen method. In order to reuse the material resulting from the pruning of the garden (FMUSP) and the damp garbage from the restaurant. After the workshop where the garden and restaurant staff participated, the composting continued until reaching the maximum height indicated, when it entered rest period until being opened and have the compound taken advantage of. The objective of being an example within the city of São Paulo was reached in the numerous visits received to know and understand how the UFSC method of composting works.
