Abstract

Bees are the main agents pollinators of plants, despite the importance for the sustainability of the environment, is not widely disseminated in schools, and can be a tool in Environmental Education. The aim of this study was to demonstrate to students at the May 13th School of the Angico Village, belonging to the municipality of Nossa Senhora da Glória-SE, the importance of bees for pollination of plants, as well as to raise awareness about wildlife protection native flora and encourage children to protect the environment. Talks were held for fifty-four children from two elementary school classes, as well as play activities such as
drawings and paintings on cardboard, as well as the delivery of a plant species (Moringa oleifera). It was possible to observe the knowledge already obtained by the students, and the ones developed during the activities carried out, through the children's interest, through the participation and integration of the project grantees, children and teachers responsible for each class.
