Abstract

This article aims at exposing the experience of the EFA Chico Antônio Bié Family School in
relation to the selection process, training, work with the families of the young people, political
incidence and the main results regarding the construction of another look at the Agroecology
in the area covered by the technical assistance of CETRA - Center for Labor Studies and Advice
to the Worker in the Territory of Sobral, Ceará. CETRA’s institutional relationship with the
EFA Chico Antônio has been a motivating force for working strategies for peasant rural youth
with agroecology, as well as families involved in the process of alternative pedagogy. All this
interaction has potentiated the construction of agroecological knowledge and influenced to
change the vision of the world of these young people, as well as the trajectory of the familiar
agroecosystems in the agroecological transition and improvement of their quality of life.
