Agroecology in artistic projects

Abstract

The text presents artistic projects by the artist Jorge Menna Barreto who participated in art shows in Brazil and bring the discussion of agroecology to the field of arts. The projects were based on meetings with farmers of Cooperafloresta - Association of Agroforestry Farmers of Barra do Turvo / SP and Adrianópolis / PR and seated of agrarian reform, the participation of farmers and the spontaneous public shows. In discussing these proposals and demonstrating the access to concepts of agroecology by the public, we seek to contribute to this area of ​​knowledge that is being built through a network of relationships, becoming a science, movement and practice.
