Abstract

This report intents to present the innovative experience of the implementation of the Technical Course in Agroecology, in the Metropolitan Region of Belo Horizonte, under alternation regime and its scope on professional training. The course, from the Technical School Sandoval Soares de Azevedo, located at the Helena Antipoff Foundation, is followed by high school and alternation. It has a pedagogical proposal that contemplates diversity of subjects and transdisciplinary formation. The methodological proposal aims at enabling the students to work and develop in their areas (and beyond) projects of adaptation, planting and production of healthier foods, as alternatives to conventional agriculture. Building sustainability perspectives that are more inclusive in social, political, ethical, environmental, economic and cultural aspects that promote the emancipation of the subjects in the transition from planting, production and consumption of conventional foods to the agroecological and also respecting the environmental, climatic, social and cultural aspects of each region.
