Abstract

Pedagroeco is a project of the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation (Embrapa) created with the objective of constructing a participative methodology for the training of rural youth in multimedia production with an agroecological approach. The proposal, initiated in 2017, and still in execution, seeks to strengthen local agroecological processes in Northeastern territories through the dissemination and systematization of agroecological experiences. Young people from five states participate in the project: Alagoas, Bahia, Piauí, Paraíba and Sergipe. Partial results indicate that Pedagroeco, because it was proposed to be participative, was incorporated into the local processes of the communities that built their Participative Rural Diagnoses, videos, radio programs, lines, photographic exhibition, plays among others, referenced in the communication popular.
