Abstract

This work intends to describe the experience of two students of the the 24th Edition of the
School of Formation for Youth for the Coexistence with Semi-Arid, conducted by the Instituto
da Pequena Agropecuária Apropriada (IRPAA), bringing several subjects to reflection in the
light of a new paradigm of “Living with the semi-arid”, instead of the old and obsolete approach
to “combating drought”.
