The promotion of Agroecology through art within the scope of the Art Cinema of Flowers Project

Abstract

This work is the result of a project that proposes a new approach to the agroecological transition,
with young actors as multipliers of agroecology who use art (itinerant cinema, music, theater)
to organize themselves into grassroots groups in a context of fragility an exodus of these
youths. The proposal is to form new groups of young people and strengthen existing ones. The
methodology counts on the exhibition of educational and entertainment films, meetings, meetings
and exchanges between them. Also a campaign on healthy eating and the strengthening
of the permanent campaign against pesticides and life began. The results highlight the aspects
of strengthening the organization of rural youth and increasing the understanding and pursuit
of rights. It is hoped that this work contributes to the construction of agroecological knowledge,
through a differentiated methodology to carry out work with the rural youth.
