Analysis of pronaf agroecology in a sustainable rural development perspective

The objective of this work was to gather information about Pronaf agroecology and to highlight
how literature has been observing its evolution since its inception. The methodology of the present
work consisted in carrying out a survey in the literature on the studies directed to Pronaf,
highlighting the participation of Pronaf agroecology in fomenting the diverse activities in the
rural environment. In addition, data were collected on the resources applied to Pronaf agroecology,
in order to evaluate the evolution Since its foundation to the present day. The results
showed that Pronaf agroecology is a rural line that funds agroecological or organic projects,
and can finance up to R$ 300,000 per beneficiary. However, in the literature there is still little
information on Pronaf agroecology. However, it is concluded that Pronaf agroecology is a credit
line that can contribute to the sustainable development of family-based agriculture.
