The brazilian agribusiness: advancement of capital over land

Abstract

The article aims to analyze the development of agribusiness in Brazil and its appropriation of
land, provoking the concentration of land ownership, destroying the environment, destitution of
native cultures and peoples; In order to produce on a global scale under the rules of the financial
market and accumulation. It proposes to carry out an analysis between financial capital in
agriculture, public policies for the countryside and expansion of agribusiness. This article originates
from a review of the literature on the Brazilian agrarian question nowadays, from classic
and contemporary authors.
