Difficulties, technological demands and main solutions involving of the vegetables production chain in agroecological bases in the Mato Grosso do Sul State

Abstract

This work aimed to identify the main technological problems in the chain of production of vegetables
in agroecological bases in Mato Grosso do Sul State, alternatives to solve them, as
well as the main actors involved in this process. It was developed in the month of March of
2017, during a seminar about vegetables production realized in Dourados, MS. The methodology
used was the panel of experts, whith the participation of technicians and farmers, who
expressed their perceptions, conceptions, which served as the basis for discussions and the
establishment of consensus on the topics discussed. The results showed a great diversity of
problems inherent to the chain, as well as the indication of actions that need to be developed
to solve them, which will support the construction of priorities agendas of institutions and
research entities, technical assistance and rural extension, municipal governments, farmers’
organizations, among others.
