Rural basic sanitation - Reality of the community of Feliz Lembrança, Alegre-ES.

Abstract

Basic sanitation has been in the constitution since 1988, and was supported by law in 2007,
where basic sanitation guidelines were established. The residents of the community of Feliz
Lembrança, located in the rural area of the municipality of Alegre, Espírito Santo, made themselves
available to report on the reality of the community regarding the issues of rural basic
sanitation. The practices already adopted by the community in relation to water protection and
solid waste disposal are indicated, as far as the destination of the sewage is concerned, the
community has been working so that everyone can adapt as soon as possible.
